http://2020timetravel.wordpress.com/ ]]>Sun, 24 Apr 2011 15:53:00 GMThttp://www.kellisuelandon.com/1/post/2011/04/proofing-of-nightmare.htmlIt took hours, but I finally got Nightmare at Camp Forrestwood proofread and edited!  I had 48 edits!  I did not expect to have that many.  I got the first 25 free, but then got charged for every block of 25 - I had two more I should have used, but my eyes were so tired and burning, I didn't look through it again to use my last 2.  I am a little worried about this one because a few reviews of Sudden Moves claimed that my dialogue was forced.  I don't consider my dialogue forced.  Forced is someone talking when there is no motivation for them to say what they say, like a book I am reading now.  My characters react naturally, just because something comes out of their mouths that the reader doesn't expect, doesn't make it "forced."  One critic said Sudden Moves was too dramatic and had too many twists for her to keep up.  I take that as a compliment.  Drama and twists are what keeps a novel going and hard to put down.  I hope I have done a good job with Nightmare and hope everyone enjoys it!  I am now waiting for Outskirts Press to correct my edits and then we are on our way to my second publication!!! ]]>Thu, 14 Apr 2011 02:46:43 GMThttp://www.kellisuelandon.com/1/post/2011/04/reading-and-writing.htmlWhile I am 100 pages into my third novel, Summer Shack, I am also reading books for reveiws.  I am almost through River of Eden from Paul Wagner, then I have a couple more books to read (both YA).  I love reading so I wish I had more time.  I am the busiest I ever have in my life!  Didn't realize I could ever be this busy.  I think I need a schedule!  I hope to get back to Summer Shack this weekend as I am still waiting on my final proof of Nightmare at Camp Forrestwood.  The story is getting better, the more I get into it.  Hope it measures    ]]>Sun, 20 Mar 2011 14:34:53 GMThttp://www.kellisuelandon.com/1/post/2011/03/book-signing.htmlBook signing went great!  I have a link on my home page for the photos.  Weebly won't let me upload a photo gallery or my Writers In The Sky interview here.  They are up on my blog at http://kellisuelandonsblog.blogspot.com/
