I am a little worried about this one because a few reviews of Sudden Moves claimed that my dialogue was forced. I don't consider my dialogue forced. Forced is someone talking when there is no motivation for them to say what they say, like a book I am reading now. My characters react naturally, just because something comes out of their mouths that the reader doesn't expect, doesn't make it "forced." One critic said Sudden Moves was too dramatic and had too many twists for her to keep up. I take that as a compliment. Drama and twists are what keeps a novel going and hard to put down. I hope I have done a good job with Nightmare and hope everyone enjoys it! I am now waiting for Outskirts Press to correct my edits and then we are on our way to my second publication!!!

Reading and writing

http://www.kellisuelandon.com/1/post/2011/04/reading-and-writing.html

http://www.kellisuelandon.com/1/post/2011/04/reading-and-writing.html#comments

Uncategorized

While I am 100 pages into my third novel, Summer Shack, I am also reading books for reveiws.
